My son booked this hotel for us to spend the weekend. The rooms were okay but for the price i had expected them to be a bit more upmarket. There were ring marks on the dresser top and the beds were quite uncomfortable. The views from the balcony overlooked the local shops. Breakfast became a major complication as you had to pay for a buffet type breakfast so if you have a small appetite your basically paying for those who have huge appetites and it becomes value for money for them. I’m not really sure why a request for a coffee and a couple of eggs became such a huge problem and it took a long time for a decision to be made for me to have just that without having to pay a ridiculous price to eat all I could. The Manager did eventually sort out the problem but it ruined my first day at this hotel. There were a couple of pools and the hotel was located on a beach with plenty of sun loungers. The food was good and there was a pool bar so you could drink while in the pool. We went to a restaurant within the hotel but were disappointed with the quality of food. The Manager came to speak to us but the evening had already been ruined. Overall the staff were very polite at this hotel and did their best to accommodate us when when raised issues but a luxury hotel should be able to cater for all requests without hesitation and food should be of a standard that does not require sending back to the kitchen. I would not return to this hotel.
